Is the heater control unit supposed to be lite when the dash lights are on?? The push buttons that control where the fan blower blows air come on, but when it is dark you can't see anything else on the controls???

I was just wondering if this has lights behind it...I was thinking I might have a plug undone being nothing is lite on this unit.
