Default '93 Del Sol Motor Rebuild?

I have a '93 Del Sol with 189K miles on it and im not currently having any problems with it, it runs great with no oil leaks or anything and I replaced the clutch about 9k miles ago. It is lightly moded nothing major just exhaust, intake, short shifter, drilled and slotted rotors, stage 1 clutch, and aftermarket wheels. I have been wrestling with whether to buy a new car and just drive this in the summer or just get the motor rebuilt but I was wondering if any one knew what the best way to go was? To rebuild or buy a low mileage motor or already rebuilt motor and put that in? What is the best option for the lowest cost?

Thanks

this is just me but i would buy a low millage jdm motor.
but the lowest cost, would be to re build, as long as you dont have to replace pistons, rods, etc.

but just ring, bearing and some seals dont cost that much. do you plan on doing this your self or having a shop do it?

Well if I rebuild I have a local shop that the people that own it are big honda guys one has a new si supercharged and the other had a s200 that redlined at 13k I was thinking on taking it to them and having them do it since they are more experienced at it and I have never done it before and would probably end up costing myself more money but I was really thinking about buying a motor and just putting it in myself because my dad used to work on cars and I know between the 2 of us we could get that done but if all else fails I could have a shop do that to. I have done most of the repairs on my car I just dont want to screw something like a motor up. Another question I had is I have found some low mileage jdm motors for a good price but do they pass emissions here? If so ill probably go that route since I can just get one and put it in.
