Default 93 Del Sol/B18C1 swap - High idle after moving

Hey this is my first post here, ive been having crazy problems with my del sol lately and after about 3 days I finally found that the hose came unattached from the fuel pump in the gas tank! Needless to say its running a lot better now but not 100%. I start it and it will idle at 900 then after I start going and come to a stop it will be at like 1500 to 2000. any suggestions? I was gonna change the TPS later today and pray that's it oh and the motor is a B18C1. thanks in advance

Clean the throttle body and IACV, and adjust the throttle cable to have some slack.

I have just cleaned the throttle body and my friend telling me to take the whole manifold off and clean it but that seemed like overkill and I haven't cleaned the IACV so I will do that while im doing the TPS. also thanks for that useful tech link and I do think the throttle cable might be a little tight ill loosen that a little as well

Agreed.

while im doing the TPS.
At this point, I don't see any reason to touch the TPS.

Any CEL codes thrown?

No codes are being thrown but I bought the new tps and put it on when it car was acting up bad. the new TPS made no difference so I put the old one back on but the gasket was a little rough so I didn't know if there is leak and since I still had the new set up I was just gonna throw it on with a new gasket and save the old as back up

Did you voltage calibrate the new TPS?

What car?

Okay I just finished working on the car and I found something Strange when I try calibrating my TPS the Lowest I could get the voltage was 1.5 so I took the sensor out and used a dremel to make the mounting cutouts longer this aloud me to spin it a little bit farther back and now it's at .8 but my car feels the same while I'm driving if I push the clutch all the way it's staying at 2g

Post pictures of your TPS and the wires you're probing for voltage.
