Hi all I have a 93 EG hatch with a non vtech D15 manual.
and I have the famous problem with the fuel pump not priming and all involved with this...
this is what I have checked on my car!

-resoldered the Main relay, even try a different one.
-"fuel pump works" by jumping main relay connectors 1&7 ign off and 5&7 (ON II)
-fuses work hood #31 dash #24
-visually checked the ecu for signs of corrosion outside and inside. also checked for burned solder joints and they seemed like new.
-ECU ground on the thermostat housing is clean and tight.

any sugestions?
I know I should test the connectors that go from the ECU to the main relay but I do not know where to start.. if anybody has more experience than I do about this problem I appreciate your time!

you need a new fuel pump

also, it's VTEC, they will rip you apart in here for saying v-tech, they make phones and electronics, not Honda motors

sfar785 How can you say it is the fuel pump when it works when I jumped it from the relay and directly from the battery and works??? Im trying to troubleshoot not to guess!
