Civic Power-to-Manual Window Conversion - Help!
To keep things brief, I have a 1993 Honda Civic Ex Coupe, and I would like to change one of the windows from a power window to a manual window. The regulator and motor themselves work, but I have an issue deeper into the electrical system of the car that won’t allow my driver’s side window to roll up or down, and at the moment I don’t have the money or patience to fix it. How could I go about doing this, and is there any way I could do a power-to-manual window conversion without replacing the regulator? Thank you.

You can install the manual assembly, the door is made to accommodate both manual or power. You would also have to change your door panel unless you plan on just leaving the panel off until you fix the electrical problem. I believe the entire assembly needs to be swapped, not just the motor portion.

Troubleshoot the electrical problem. Fuses. Broken wire in the harness between the body and the door. Corroded connection at the connector. Bad ground. What are the chances it's one of these four issues? High.
