I JUST SWAPPED EVERYTHING OUT OF MY 92VX WHICH HAD A D16Z6 SWAP AND HAVE COME TO FIND OUT THAT IT HAS R-134A A/C COMPRESSOR AND MY 95DX THAT EVERYTHING HAS GONE INTO IS SUITED FOR R-12. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF AND HOW I CAN CONVERT THIS OVER?
I ALSO NEED HELP ON SOME WIRING ISSUES, CHECK MY OTHER POST IF YOU THINK YOU COULD BE OF ASSISTANCE. ITS POSTED AS !!! 95DX HELP PLEASE!!!

hmmm... where do i start. your 95 should have had the r134 and your 92 should have had the r12. if you're just swapping the systems ... i'd have to ask, "why" . i just did the same thing, so my guess would be that one system doesn't work. well... the lines are different. so you'll end up pulling out the dryer, condensor,evaporator... basically everything except the fan under your dash and the climate control. i definatley have experience with both systems so if ya have any questions let me know..

U WHERE RIGHT I HAD IT BACKWARDS ON THE R134 AND R12, THE 95 I BOUGHT WAS JUST THE CAR, NO MOTOR OR TRANS, AND THE LINES DON'T MATCH UP. SO INSTEAD OF DISASSEMBLING THE LINES IN THE ENGINE BAY AND USING THE LINES OUT OF THE 92, U MEAN I NEED TO SWAP OUT EVERYTHING UNDER THE DASH TOO. IS THAT A DIFFICULT PROCESS AND WHY WOULD I NEED TO WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT. I THOUGHT THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS THE COMPRESSOR AND THE FREON BEING USED. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY

lines from the compressor won't bolt up to the condensor ... condensor to the evaporator ...and so on... you don't have to pull "everything" from under your dash... just the evaporator and plastics ... cause the plug that goes to plastic compartment that holds the evap. is different. good luck
