D15B8 replacing D16Z6 in '95 EX.

D15B8 replacing D16Z6 in '95 EX.
I had a friend stop by wondering if I could install a spare D15B8 swap I have lying around(motor/harness/trans/ecu/axles/header+downpipe) in his '95 EX due to his D16Z6 block being bad. He just wants a replacement motor and doesn't care about VTEC.
I'd imagine I could swap in the D15B8+trans+ECU with out changing anything or modifying anything, and that's all there is to it...but I want to be 100% sure before I take on the job. I checked both FAQ stickies and couldn't find anything in particular for this swap.
This is only the second Civic I've done a swap on, I mainly work with Integras and Preludes. The D15B8 swap I have is from a '92 CX that I swapped a B18B1+LS hydro trans in to.

EDIT: Also need to know if I can swap his a/c compressor over to the D15B8, he wants to keep A/C and doesn't care about keeping P/S...but can I swap P/S over as well if he changes his mind? It looks as if the D15B8 has the brackets for those pumps, just never had the pumps installed due to being in a CX.

It should be a fairly straight forward swap. He could even use his stock transmission (and axles) if he wants to, instead of using the horribly long CX one (I own a stock CX so I know how much of a pain it is). For A/C & P/S, just swap over the brackets, the A/C compressor, and P/S pump onto the B8 engine. The only major difference is going to be the O2 sensor. Unless the CX was originally from California, the stock CX ECU is going to look for a 1-wire O2 sensor, instead of the 4-wire O2 sensor of the EX. I honestly don't know if it will affect anything, by having a 4-wire O2 sensor hooked up instead of the 1-wire O2.

Agreed, this swap is not a big deal. The wiring is there to make it compatible.

I'm using the ECU that came with the D15B, and retaining the o2 sensor that came on the D15B...so it should run just as good as it did in the '92CX, if everything is plug and play. I'm not sure why there'd be any 4wire o2 problems since the P28(I think?) and 4wire o2 are leaving the car with the D16Z6.

^like he said its a fairly strait foward swap. also to agree with CivicSpoon i would use the d16z6 tranny. but since you alreadt have everything there it should be plug and play.

Ya, the D15B8 swap is all together, linkages are even still attached...so I plan on just doing a full swap so this guy isn't without his car for more than a day. I was pretty sure that it would swap right in without having to change anything, just wanted to confirm this before having him drop the car off.
