92 cx wont start
Okay, so yesterday my brother and I brought home a 92 civic hatch from a junk yard. All we needed to replace was the alternator to get it home. The battery was totally dead too, but we just replaced the alternator with one off site and jump started the car. It drove 60 miles like that dying twice. Today, I replaced the battery with one I know to be good from my totaled 90 civic (which was almost dead but all it needed was to be recharged) and jump started the car again. I let the car idle 'till it got up to operating temp, turned off the car. When I tried to start it, though, all I got was a buzzing, clicking sound. So, I checked the battery voltage and it read 11.7V. Thats when I got worried. That seems like enough to start the car. I tried again and the same thing happened but, after the second time, the battery had 10.4V. Should I jump it again and let the battery carge longer? Is there something else that could be wrong?

boost it. but sounds like your gonna need a battery. its problaly short celled. what happens (rough idea not scientificly correct) cells join creating this crap voltage (like 11.7) when the battery only has half that under pressure.
