Default 92 Civic VX - No start

First post here.

Finally found a 92 Civic VX, nice Calf car, bought it not running. PO tinkered with it, anyway I own it now

Searched here & followed the suggested "Advanced Ignition Trouble shooting" at the Team - Integra.net with the following result

Timing belt: rockers operating as viewed thru oil fill
Engine ground: cleaned G101 ( thermostat housing)

Primary Coil Resistance: 3.3 ohm ( is this within range? is this the problem?)
write up said .6 ohm
Secondary: 11.9 ohm

ICM: supply voltage Bk/Y and gnd - 12vdc
Wht/Bl and gnd- 12vdc
Test light fait flash while cranking engine

My guess ( I hate to guess) would be the ignition coil

Suggestions?
Thanks Gents

Let's start with the basics.

Bone stock VX?

Does the starter crank the engine?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Is there bright white spark at all 4 spark plugs?

Is the mechanical timing properly set?

Are the cylinder compressions similar and adequately high?

Any CEL codes?

This.... need a little more engine info.... what exactly is the motor doing versus not doing? besides not starting

Bone stock-- unmolested

Engine turns over fine new (today) battery

NO SPARK at any of the plugs

fuel pump primes..I can hear it.
Going to check fuel pressure next ...have not yet checked it because as I said no spark at the plugs

Did you checked the ignition coil?

Is my primary coil resistance within acceptable range?

Seems lil bit high, but shouldn't be the cause imo.
No coil to try ?

pandax. Tks for the quick response.

I'd have to purchase a coil to try. no returns on electrical prts.

Cant seem to locate a procedural for testing the crank sensor. Is there one here?

Tks

How many wires have u got on it ?
Should be at least 3, ground, positive and signal.
Unplug the connector, and check voltage with ignition on.
Black wire is the ground, and try the one / two / three wires left.
Positive wire should be +12v and signal wires would change when cranking.

If no changes, sensor probably dead ..

Before buying parts, try to find a nice guy would could lend u those. Cheaper, and won't make u lose money

Both resistance readings of the coil tell you that it's toast. Replace and go from there.
