Default 92-95or96-98

I've done the research and i wanted to know if anyone could help me with more info on the gear ratio for a EX in a 92-95 to a 96-98 I'm lookin to swap.Thanks! which one will have the better acceleration?

SAME! cept 96+ y8 tranny has stronger shifter fork. motor wise it pretty much the same the 92-95 d16z6 head is more free flowing while the 96-00 d16y8 head has a high compression ratio and has the intake manifold consider'd the type r manifold for sohcs.
