Alright im installing a friends set of fog lights and just have a quick question. The setup comes with 2 harness kinda deals. Heres a pic of what i need help with

on the left side there is 3 wires.. the far left is ground, i dont know where the second to the left one goes, the 3rd goes to the other part of the harness, and the green goes to the switch. If anybody could tell me where the wire second from the left goes it would be greatly appreciated. In the diagram it shows it going to + but im wondering if there is a wire im not seeing in my engine bay it connects to? the diagram is here...


thanks in advance. any pictures of installed foglight wiring for non oem would be greatly helpful.

Goes to your accessory slot on your fusebox. The OEM harness has two wires that go to the fusebox, but since the aftermarket harness gets its 12v constant directly from the battery (instead of the accessory slot) this wire powers the fogs depending on how you want them to work.



Connect this wire to slot #3 or 5 (middle and far right respectively) if you want the fogs to work when the ign switch is turned, in case you accidentally leave your fogs on with your car off. Your fogs will work independently of your headlights.

Connect this wire to slot #4 (2nd from right) if you want the fogs to work most OEM like. Will only work if your headlights are on.

Connect this wire to slot #1 or 2 (two most left) if you want the fogs to work whenever you want, even with the car off.
