92-95 civic** vehicle speed sensor
I have successfully installed a 8thgen civic oem Honda navi into my 93 eg civic. I have one obstacle left. How do I hook up the vehicle speed sensor wire from the gps unit to the vehicle speed sensor of the car. The same sensor that's hooked up to speedo and ecu. Please show me the location on car and if I can just tap
Into the plug behind speedo cluster???

Wrong. It needs to be wired in. 100% sure. Certain aftermarket models don't require it. Alot of them and oem units do require it though. There is also a wire from the radio harness labeled vss(vehicle speed sensor)

I wasn't trying to contradict you. Just wondered why it needed to be wired in when most modern standalone GPS can tell you vehicle speed/ETAs without it.

Yeah dude. I actually thought that at first to. Two days just to finally figure out how to wire it up. Popping fuses, splicing wires over and over and I finally thought I was done. Then I drive and the arrow on the gps turns with the car but doesn't move.lol. I was like fffffuuuuuuuuuuu....
