4gen speed sensor location
Hello,
i just bought an Eclipse deck with navigation and it has a "vehicle speed pulse wire" and I would like to know where to I hook to wire to? I have been looking for the speed sensor but I couldn't find and i'm not even sure if you hook it to that wire.
thank you

the speed sensor is located right above the differential in the transmission. look on the passenger side of the intake manifold, then reach down about one foot, you will see two hoses going to it, and you will see the electrical plug on top of it.
i think it has 3 wires, not sure which to attach your navigation unit.

I would go here to get a free manual.

Then you can look up the wiring diagrams.
Then I would hook the nav unit to where the VSS sends the signal to your speedo then you don't have to put a wire through the fire wall.
