(91)ls swap into (1994) eg sedan
iv owned a couple hondas and love them and iv found a car in my area that im wanting to purchase but NEED some help and have ALOT of questions.. the dude i want to buy the car off of put a 91 ls motor in a 94 civic sedan but never hooked it up...i havnt gone to look at it so im not sure how far he has gone on the swap but what is everything i would need for an ls swap into an eg.. i know u guys are gonna say go do ur research but i cant seem to find any good websites that thoroughly explain step by step on how to do this swap.. iv never done a honda swap before but the guy im buying the car from said its basically plug and play as far as hooking up the wire harness.. what exactly do i need for this swap?? and as far as the engine wire harness is it plug and play?? now my next question is im going to be buying a car that iv never herd run before.. what do i look for?? can i compression test a motor w/o starting it?? if u guys were going to buy a car uv never herd run before what would u look for?? give me a little help please dont just tell me to do reasearch i have i just cant find any really good websites that show u how to do the swap step by step.. help me out a little bit send me sum links to some good sites and ur thoughts...THANKS

It's illegal to put an older motor into a newer model car that is going to be driven on the streets. You don't plan on keeping the older motor in it do you?
As far as the LS swap-do some research. Thousands of posts on the subject from where to purchase engines/parts to the installation itself.
If it were me I'd pass on that car. Unless the price was absolutely right.
