Whats up guys, names Jason from Hawaii. I'm putting together a k20A cl7 swap into a eg hatch. I have most of my swap parts including the ,k tuned conversion harness. Anyone do this swap and have anything I should know to make sure to do it watch for? And is the directions they give me the same for my K20a wiring it up? How do I wire up the fuel pump correctly? Sorry so many questions at once lol It's my first K swap and K20a are rare down here.

Might be best to give K-Tuned a call regarding using that harness to wire up your particular K20A into an EG Civic. It should be the same but I am not 100% sure. Most K20A engines I've come across were removed from DC5 ITRs and K-Tuned's harness is guaranteed to work with that. Also see link below for more info on how to do the swap. It's an old link but still relevant.

thank you for the advice! Bought the motor from HMO. It's a cl7 motor but was pulled out of a dc5. So it's already converted to throttle cable etc.

Also does this swap require 2 o2 sensors if I'm using the stock computer?

If using the JDM Type R ECU then no it only needs the primary O2 sensor. If you can afford it try and get a K Pro ecu. There are used ones floating around and can be had for pretty cheap.

^^^ Definitely yes, but don't try, do get a K-pro ecu. Running a stock ECU will hurt you in the short and long run. A properly tuned swap can not be had without a re-tuned ECU.
