91 Honda Civic
Hey, guys I'm new and a noob to cars. I purchased my car almost a year ago in December and I really need it to last though this ski season. So I'll be driving through the mountains, not that far. It's in great shape, with 163k miles. I try to take care of it as much as possible, but what do you guys recommend for general maintence? Keeping this car alive for as long as possible would greatly help getting to the mountain.

Regular maintenance- oil change (on time), change plugs and wires, rotor, dist. cap, fuel filter, new air filter, clean t/b, change the thermostat, change tranny fluid, if you have the means, do the timing belt and water pump, too. This should help you last way beyond the winter.
