3 wire idle air control to 2 wire? Without swapping intake manifold.
I have a 96 odb2a d16y7. I picked up a p06 ecu for next to nothing so I am going to get it chipped and tuned. I already have a jumper harness but I was told the 3 wire iac won't work so I am wondering if I can convert to a 2 wire.
Thanks!
Thanks!

No you have to use any other Dseries with the two wire IACV preferred in this order:
-D16Z6/D16Y8 (5 speed only manifold)
-D15B7
Any other will just have too low of flow to even bother with.

IIRC: (somebody please correct me if i'm wring) I've read up on it, and it's not just the wiring, but the signals/output and how they're sent to the ECU. The IACV's are different, and you can't fit the Y8 manual/Z6 IACV on the Y7 since the y8 manual/z6 is mounted on the outside of the intake manifold unlike the Y7 where it's in the throttle body.
