255lph walbro + stock fpr = ok??

Default 255lph walbro + stock fpr = ok??

hey all
i have to get my car bar'd soon, and the only non-carb approved things i have on my car are a b&m fpr and 255lph pump. will my car run alright with a stock fpr and 255lph pump? btw, i'm running a b16a, aem sri, p28 chipped to p30 spec, in the case of a p30 ecu.

Yep, you'll be fine. I run a Walbro pump on my stock FPR. If you've tuned it for the adjustable fpr though you may want to be easy on the car while your driving it with the stock FPR.

i have heard from some people that they had a problem maintaining stock fuel pressure with the 255LPH pump-i guess the stock regulator can't bypass enough fuel,making them run a little rich.i'm assuming this could cause problems in a smog test.
i never had any problems with mine-at least not enough to notice.but,like i said,even a little too rich could ruin a smog test.

****.. that's what i was worrying about.... i jsut pulled the b&m and put the stock b16 fpr on. its pushing 40psi at idle, 43psi with the hose off and pinched. that's right in spec. hopefully it'll keep like that for next week

considering how little fuel you're using at idle,if it's at stock pressure then,i think you're cool.
