A lot of money..that's what you need. You need forged rods, pistons, all kinds of ****. And awesome tuning and fuel management.

You should do some research on the forced induction forum. Good luck.

if you plan on using a dart block, you might as well sell your entire engine, buy the dart block, forged internals, and maybe some turbo cams, as far as the valvetrain goes, i would suggest getting valve springs, but thats all. maybe skunk2 turbo cams.

you need a good size turbo, waste gate, blow off valve, piping, intercooler( if you want it) and a good engine management system. and a place to tune your car.

10,000$ and 100 man hours later, you have yourself a 22 PSI dart block.

22psi huh.. on what turbo? with what motor?

I think you should have planned a power goal.. cause you *could* boost 22psi thougha tiny *** turbo.. sure it may be blowing hot air into your motor by boosting so high, but what do you care? it's boosting 22psi

What things do you nid?
How about some hook on phonics first. Then do a LOT of reading up on this. I'm guessing you've never even come close to doing a turbo install and now you're all Fast and Furious and want to run 22lbs of boost in a Dart block. Riiiiiiight. Do some homework before asking assenine questions like this.

I'll agree with that. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 96hb &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">You should do some research on the forced induction forum. Good luck. </TD></TR></TABLE>

You should do that too.

Your so mean. Look at your spelling. "I" should be capitalized and "tihnk" is spelled think, if that is truely what you meant to spell. I think his point comes across clearly. And if you do a quick Google search on where he's from, he's from the Philippines. Although I do agree he would need to do more research and come up with a realistic HP goal, not a PSI goal. Best of luck IslandSi and welcome to Honda-Tech, Pinoy ako.

Well then do a hell of a lot of reading. Makes your questions a hell of a lot better if you actually have SOME knowledge of the subject. There's a LOT of info on this site. Just read a lot of posts. Here and over on clubsi.com. I know you guys hate it because it's a ricer forum, but there are quite a few members over there that hang out in the FI forum that know their ****.

You hit it right on the head. Do not step up the the post plate without some basic honda skills. We agree on that. By the way are you in the airforce. I've been in the azores three or four times. I litttle island, but with some great views. Pretty hilly when you are on foot also. Peace out.

I think the retension of 22psi is a better goal to shoot for than 400whp, personally. Albeit this person didn't do a good job of articulating their desire, I think maximizing the boost potential of a block should always be looked into before a specific horsepower or torque goal is set.

Just my $.02

why would you want a goal that has varibles in it. would it be better to have a goal that is constant

I agree to an extent.... I built a block with 25psi as a withstanding goal.... not built with a horsepower goal.... So I can understand that....

but this guy who started the post is still retarted...
