Default 2000 honda civic dx 1.6ltr you sedan no spark

It's 1.6ltr 2000 civic y7 engine code manufactured in Canada. Has no spark check timing tested distributor assembly ( coil, icm, pickups), and replaced all anyway and still no spark. I was told to look at an control interlock assembly but it appears fine although when I looked it up it said use was only for fuel pump and I have fuel. Any advice would be amazing.

Is fuse 9 blown?

Hard to know what diagnostic test was actually done when you only mention "check" and "test".

I checked for correct timing, checked cont through coil passed but replaced it anyway. I tested for power at coil output(no), I tested coil input pos had 12.3 vdc check coil input negative for cont to body ground and battery ground it failed no ground. I tested icm for power posted pins all good negative pin no ground signal replaced whole distributor cause didnt like way magnetic pickups looked. Re placed crank sensor thinking it was the ignition input data.nothing has changed. I was told by a friend to check the control interlock assembly box, I read up on it and it says it has nothing to do with the ignition system that it controls fuel pump but I have fuel. And box looks in amazing shape inside but don't have a clue how to test it if it even is tied in somehow

Does the the distributor rotor spin when you crank engine?

Did you check the Yel/Grn distributor wire for a short or open?

Yes it spins and I'm not finding a short I have power in I just am not getting the pulsed negative signal to distributor input and I did check for pulse on injectors with test light

This wire transmits the spark signal from the ECU to the distributor.

How do you interpret flux from almost no voltage drop? Cranking alone would produce a larger voltage drop.

Ohm test the wire.

Oh, okay.

The answer is yes. And the wire runs to ECU pin B13.

Crank for 15 seconds continuously, then check for ECU codes. This should detect most problems with the CYP CKP and TDC sensors. Those sensors can also be tested with an ohmmeter.

With the cap off, see if the coil will throw sparks to a grounded test wire when cranking. Should be strong blue sparks. Weak yellow sparks mean with nearly 100% certainty that the coil is bad.

Never let the coil fire into an open circuit. Always have the system completely assembled with all the spark wires plugged into the plugs, or a test wire.
