Default 2000 civic si transmission problem

The problem is a buddy of mine said my main bearing in the tranny was bad, but I didnt believe him cuz the tranny seemed fine but now when i am in like pretty much any of the gears and left off the gas so the car will deaccelerate the passenger side axle seems like its popping in or out, because I can feel it. Any suggestions of what it could be would help.

Be more descript of the actual problem. Your description is way too vague right now.

well,I basically desribed whats going on. Say I am cruising in 3rd gear and I let off the gas but leave it in gear it feels like the passenger side axle is moving in and out.

Try by checking the suspension components.

did you crash the car recently? launch it way too hard? Replace an axle? Dont leave out any details of past problems or situations.

When did it start happening? Why does it feel like the axle is popping out? Do you feel it in your steering wheel?

Cmon.

I have never crashed the car, never launched it once, but I cant say that the last owner didnt launch it nor replaced an axle and it just started happening not too long ago and yeh i can somewhat feel it in the steering wheel.

Check your suspension parts. Maybe something is broken or loose.

Check your axle.

Like I said before, you gotta get more info. It's impossible to E-fix someone's car with very little info. I understand that you only have a limited amount of info, but go jack up your car and look underneath. If you dont know what to look for or can't figure it out still, then go to a shop. Or take it to someone who knows what to look for.

is there anything while you are accelerating? does the behavior change when you are turning in either direction.

well i got underneath the car and discovered I am missing one of the motor mounts bolts. its the one that bolt the motor to the bracket, so i am gonna buy one and stick it in and see if that does trick.

if its the rear, this would be more characteristic of the problem. who did the motor swap??

its the rear mount. no its no swap its just the factory b16 motor, but i heard the owner before me broke a motor mount so I am going to guess it was the rear one based on the situation.
