slipping out in 5 gear HELP

just turbo my b16. now when im on the highway it slip out of 5 gear. never had a problem when it was na. other then one of my axle going bad it starting slipping out of 5 gear. fix the axle and now it slip in 5 gear only.
sounds like you got a syncro going out now listen this was happening to me so i tried syncromesh tranny fluid, gear hasnt popped back out in 6 months give it a try hope it helps

This happened to me about 4-5 years ago.. i had a bad transmission seal where the intermediate shaft went into teh tranny.. which caused it to leak trans fluid.
I replaced the seal, topped it off with fluid and that problem hasnt happened to me since then.
The problem is most likely that you are low on trans fluid.

I had this happen to me while I was on my way home from a road trip. b16 in 4th gear going 70mph for 2 hrs sucks!

same thing happend to me and that solved it

i had the same prob fluid was low filled it still did it pulled tranny did a rebuild and found that the sleeve for 5th and revers had some nice burs on it i took it to work cleaned them off realy nice lsd syncros bearings seals and i have the smoothest tranny in town now. but its most likely low fluid ive had a few budddies with this prob.
