Default 2000 civic ex gutless acceleration

i recently took off my throttlebody but didnt torque bolts to spec completely when putting it back on and didnt replace gasket. i have gotten worse gas mileage the last tank and notice somewhat gutless acceleration but it has also been very humid. do you think it is just the weathr, bad gas, or something with how the throttle body seals?
Thanks

You don't think this might have something to do with it?

if your throttle body doesn't have a good seal then your acceleration will suck

Why wouldn't you replace the gasket? I'd do it the right way, then post back.

replace gasket and tighten bolts correct then post back. many things could be wrong but fix the stuff you no you didnt do right first.

well the gasket is paper. it is a reuseable one and had almost no signs or wear on it so i decided not to replace it. but i will try tightening it down more and if that doesnt work, a new gasket
