2. while i was under the car i noticed my trans looked like it was dripping alittle. i have a 5 speed manule. its my first manule car. is there transmission fluid in it? or is that only in automatics.. and ifso, i cant seem to find a dipstick or a place to fill/check it.. this sounds dumb but it is my first manule car..
thanx for any help guyz.

dont what you mean about the AEM CAI, unless your talkin bout the mudguard in your wheelwell, and thats a yes.
but as far as your transmission oil, yes htere is oil for your transmission. Theres a plug on the side you can reach from the bottom. Theres not a dipstick for it, but you fill up till it drips a lil out of the whole, that means its full. Then put the bolt back in. Just buy a service manaul for a 92-95 civic, Same stuff as far as mechanic wise. It will show you good pictures.

i didnt close up my hole and i dont think i need to so do wat you like.
and yes the tranny has fluid. all trannys need to have lubrication.
there is a fluid level check bolt on the tranny under your car. dont know the exact location on a sol......gotta ask the sol owners around here....

you dont have to cover that hole, it might even help let a little bit of cool air into the engine bay, but as far as hurting anything , that hole wont cause it.
