Default 1st engine build ?'s

ok i didnt know where to put this so feel free to move if needed... i just blew up my b16 and i want to build a bottom end consisting of a gsr block, ls crank, aftermarket pistons/rods.... all the threads i read talk about having to measure everything in the rotating assembly and thats the only thing i dont know how to do i would know how to assemble it just not measure everything... question is with a fresh hone and all new parts and crank being micro polished do i even need to measure or can i just pretty much through it all together... first time build any help is appreciated sorry if i didnt do enough research first....

Well of course you have piston gap that you have to gauge, but thats a given. Depending on the compression theres also claying a motor. Other then that theres not much else. On D series you need to do some grinding for aftermarket rods.

i have a 93 delsol so but it had already be swapt to a b16 and turbod befor and they blew the engen and just threw a d16z6 back into it for me a have two b18's one is a non vtech/vtech b18a block with b16 head full wiring harnes and i have an ecu from a b18b1. the other is a b18c with axles and wiring harnes and ecu and tran but tran jumps out of gear.
My question is which would be the better motor and how exacty do i do it?

from what i have heard it is a pretty simple process excpecialy scince the internal wiring was changed and the ecu in the car is a is set up for a turbo the ecu says 92-95 spoon ecuthe axles and trany in the car a good i have new Stage 3 clutch and new urathane mounts and new gredy headers. so how do i do it and which do i use for more all arund proformence
