Default 1999 LX D16Y7 to Y8 Head swap Help

I've looked around but I just want to make sure. I have a 99 LX Auto i pulled the engine and I have a mini me swap I want to put in. I don't want or need to actually use vtec i just happen to have gotten the swap for a good price. The engine came with a manual transmission but i'm just trying to replace mine so I'm going back with an automatic. Question is will I have an issues not plugging in the vtec solenoid and also using the y7 auto intake manifold.
