Default Y7 y8 swap

I have a 99 Civic LX with a y7 I have recently done the Y8 head and intake swap. It came off of a 98 Civic EX it is the automatic Y8 intake. From everything I'm reading people say that if it is an automatic it's supposed to be 100% plug-and-play except for of course the Vtec solenoid and VTEC oil pressure solenoid. I'm using the p2e ECU that came in my car. Everything does plug up but I'm getting a code on my iavc. I guess my question is since the intake and head came off a automatic is it not actually plug-and-play as far as the is AVC goes? My connector has two wires on it. The car does start and run and holds a steady idle as far as I can tell but it's still getting the IVC code
