1997 honda civic hatchback gauge cluster problem
Hey guys i have a 1997 Honda civic hatchback and it has a broken speedometer. The needle is broken and the trip/odometer doesn't work. Anyone got any ideas on that i can do besides replace the whole thing. thanks in advance

You can replace a speedometer alone from another 6th gen Civic Cluster. Remove it from your vehicle then remove the clear plastic+black plastic and the gauge bezel then unscrew 4 screws in the back and drop the new one in (make sure you jot down your miles and keep it noted as a sticker in your door or in the glove compartment for future reference unless you want to go ahead and modify the replacement odometer)
If you're interested though, you can use a totally different vehicles cluster that's not a direct plug and play, you'll need to do some re-pinning and modify the mounting; or a CRV cluster which is direct plug and play + you get a tach.
