Any advice?
I had a broken antenna on my 1997 Honda Civic EX, and was trying to install the new one. The advice was to tie a string (I used fishing line) to the old antenna wiring, pull it out, and then attach the line to the new antenna and pull its cable back in. But in pulling the new one back in, the line broke. I've tried several ideas in "pushing" the cable down (or thinner substitutes, like a thin chain), but nothing drops through under the dash. I guess there is a turn at some point near the dash.

Is there a clever solution of some sort? Otherwise, it seems there is a lot of wiring to work through under the dash, to try to find where the antenna cable is supposed to drop down.
