1996 HX with D16Y8 SWAP HELP!!!!!!!
Ok so heres my problem. I have a 96 HX and I recently did a D16Y8 swap. Everything works but the only minor problem is that when I use the Y8 ECU its pops out 2 or 3 Check Engine Light. And with the Hx ECU all the engine light dies. I was told that I need to run a 96-98 EX engine harness...is there an alternative route?...Please Help. Need to pass smog asap.

You should be okay with the harness. Both ex and hx are vtec. Check the "check engine" thread and find out what type of cel's you are throwing. Make sure all connections are secure. It may be something as simple as that.
