Default 1995 Honda Civic HELP

I have a 95 civic 5speed that i need help with..

Starts right up no problem 1st gear is fine but when I shift to 2nd gear it starts jumping and goes slow.its a misfire?

I just changed the spark plugs and did an oil change.. I tested the spark plug wires by turning the car on and taking it off one by one and checked if the car changes...

also, it did have some oil on the 2nd spark plug

Ive search the internet and haven't found the problem,,help!!!

I don't want to take it to a shop because im broke

You might also want to replace the plug wires, cap, and rotor and then check the ignition timing with a timing gun.

Any CEL codes?

Was the oil on the outside of spark plug #2 or on the spark-producing portion inside the cylinder?

While I can't pinpoint your problem, the ignition timing does seem plausible...

A couple of quick questions come to mind:
- When you first start the car is your idle erratic or high (like around 2-2500 rpms)?
- Also have you recently done an oil change on the car

Im going to try new wires tomorrow...

I tried messing around with the timing all day today but sometimes it was way to slow when i shifted and other times it was just jerking alot.

how do i get CEL codes?

The oil was inside the cylinder, I tried cleaning it by putting a cloth inside. I took the spark out again and still had a little oil on it but not as much as the first time.
