1994 Del Sol Si Suspension Questions
Alright, I've used search. Looked through the first 6 pages and haven't really gotten my question answered. Basically I've purchased a 94 Sol Si with a D16A(JDM D16Z6) swap, 5 spd manual, the worst suspension I've ever driven on, and all in all a good deal for 1500 imho. It's not super nice, but it doesn't need much more than a few spots of fiberglass/bondo and some paint to be a nice car. My main issue is the suspension is just terrible. Every bump in the road is felt in my back and not to mention it tends to hit the lower radiator support about once a week and everyday if I don't pull it in the driveway carefully. Basically my budget is around $500 max for the entire setup and I am quite google savvy in my search for saving money. The car has coilovers and compared to the other del sols I've seen, it looks to be around 4 inches lower than stock. I don't care for it being low at all honestly, it was bought for back and forth to school. I'm used to big trucks with leaf springs in the rear and solid axles in the front, so I'm really new to this kind of thing. It rides MUCH rougher than my truck. I would like all new suspension. I know I need new coils and shocks. What else do I need to replace? And can anyone recommend the best riding shocks?
Hope thats enough information.

Re: 1994 Del Sol Si Suspension Questions
https://honda-tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes-54/click-here-all-you-curious-about-suspension-setups-their-costs-reliability-2967499/ Everything you need to know sir. No matter what suspension you get, if it's lower than stock, it's going to be kind of a rough ride. Check out the $600 setups that he talks about. Should raise you up enough to where you won't scrape. Unless you drive ignorantly. Hope it helps.
