does it idle low when your car is hot or cold?

yeah check that. could be a loose hose or just a messed up on. another thing u can chack out is your IACV (idle air control valve) sometimes those go back or get clogged up inside. try taking it off and cleanning it out with carb cleanner. and another thing it might be your timming. check all of those and im pretty sure you will find your problem. The most common cause of idle probs on most honda is coolant temp sensor, low coolant, or as mentioned previously the IAC solenoid. In rare cases, there is an idle-up solenoid for a/c PS, or other heavy loads put on the motor at idle speed. This is what makes the idle kick up when you have pwr steering, or turn on the ac, etc. Try cleaning the tb first & chk coolant befor dropping 350 on an IAC (never buy a used IAC) Is the MIL on?
