1993 civic hatch d16z6 starting issue
Hello everyone...new to this forum but have been on many others. I just picked up a 1993 civic hatch with a d16z6 vitara, p28 ecu,Garrett turbo build. I just am going over the car to clean it up a little and I was rearranging the wires in the engine bay to clean it up a little. Wires were hanging all over the place.
Below is a picture I the wire I had to disconnect to just move it up and make it nice and tight. Once I did that. I reconnected it and then tried to start the car and it would crank and want to start but won't run. I then disconnected to battery to reset the car and it still is doing the same thing.
I have owners many Hondas and acuras but this is my first turbo.
If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

If you are talking about the square plug.
1- Try with a test light to push all the wires to the inside, sometimes one or two wires moves back and not make contact.
2- Check that when you disconnected the plug not messing some of the splice crimped connections in it.
3- When you did the work do you disconnect the battery? If not something touch the adjacent areas?

check your fuses under the hood make sure everything is good still... if that chip is a chrome chipped ecu try holding the throttle full and crank it over. I know mine will act this way when its cold.....

Hey thank you for the responses carlos8 and apexi rsx. I went through and checked all the fuses and the wires and found out that a single wire came out of a plug near the harness. put it back in and the car fired right up. Touchy car if i say!
