I have a 93 dx that we just put a new motor, same motor just out of a different car. It cranks strong and sounds like it wants to fire but it wont, We tried different plugs, wires, and distibutor but still have the same problem. The motor is getting gas. Any help would be appreciated.

 

check fuel filter, wiring, grounds stuff like that i dunno exactly just trying to give you some ideas where to start

I had the same problem when the JDM B18C motor went in my 93 hatch. I spent hours troubleshooting the problems. The spark plugs was flooded with fuel. I let it dry out for a few, took the new spark plugs out and replaced them with my old D15 spark plugs and it fired up. Switched back to the new plugs and it was fine.

 

are you getting spark?

 

getting spark on all 4 plugs.
