1993 A/C compressor replacement
hey, my compressor blew out a year ago the day i bought the car. I bought a used compressor and I was wondering if anyone has done the replacement them selves? The shop i took it to drained all the refrigerant for me so I don't have to worry about that. thanks.

It's easy. Just disconnect the lines from the compressor and from thr top near the radiator to get them out of the way. Then Loosen the a/c belt pulley and tensionor, pull the belt off the compressor. Then disconnect the one wire that runs off the top of the compressor and plugs into the bottom of the condensior fan. Then it's just 4 long bolts that hold it in place. Remove and replace in the opposite order.
