How much would it cost to take a stock civic vx into the 12 second range? Can you please give me a list of mods and a price estimate. I was thining of swapping in a b16a nd turbocharging that. Would that setup allow me to run 12's? How much would that cost.

a turbo charge b16 would push that if the boost was high enough and an h22 with some mods would do it to, i would say 8 grand would get you a 12 sec car

Parts only, we've done it in around $6500. ALL motor. that includes the whole swap over, ecu, axles, hydro trans, high compression bottom end(new everything from oil pump to bearings), new timing belt, gaskets, header, intake, etc.

a H22 in a CX should hit low 13's all day stock. With a few mods and lightening along with slicks. You should be 12's alot easier then a B16 w/ boost.

shyt I had no idea hondas were this expensive to make fast. If an h22a is 6500 just for parts with labor it'll be like 8k. Then with the other mods it will be around 10k. Damn 10k is pretty expensive just to run 12's....my dream is crushed

What about if I bought a prelude and slapped a turbo on there? How bout if I slapped a turbo on an integra that comes stock w/ a b16?

What about if you just bought a vw bug and threw in an S2000 motor, put 13:1 compression pistons in, a turbo kit boosting 30lbs DAILY DRIVEN and let's see what you got.

There were almost no little side expenses, b/c all the swap parts were taken from the junkyard car...Time was 12.47@115 on 24*8*13 slicks, on stock axles launching at 7000rpm.
