I guess the catch will be the water pump, tensioner, seals, and drive belts, if they also need to be replaced.

inspect seals and pump? waste. good find for dealer prices, i guess, but a waste overall.

They won't inspect anything. All they will do is look at and tell you....it still looks fine, just a little dirty.

wish i could get away with making 300 just to replace the belt and turn a blind eye to any other potential issue.

doesnt honda recommend belt and pump be replaced at the same time anyway?

There is way too many "inspections" and not enough "replacements". I paid about $600 at the dealership and that was with a $100 off coupon.

everyone suggests that... except dealer ASE certified mechanics LMFAO

too much work for just one part why not do them all

shop prices are shop prices. ex: 80 and hour for a 4 hour job = 320 etc. they also have book which tells them how long a repair will take and charge u even if they finish in half the time
