So - my grandson's engine blew on his 2012 Civic si - (? ran out of oil) They want to replace it - does anyone know of any video's or hints on how to go about this? My son has searched online and can't find anything. Thanks

Your going to need the find a good deal on a K24Z7, and use the blown motor as a donor for parts. Should be an easy drop in with the right tools. Talk to your local Honda dealer and see if they can provide you the exploded view of the motor and engine bay. Sounds like a bit of work but will help once you get started on the tear down. For first timers, I highly recommend either take pictures or video of everything you unplug so you can back track when it's time to plug everything back up.
