Check for codes first.

How many miles?

When was the last time you had the valves adjusted?

When was the last time the oil, spark plugs and filters (air and oil) were changed?

I had the codes checked and it read P0132 02 sensor S1 , B1

can anyone help understand if this info can help fix my acceleration problems.

Do you have live data feed (reads sensor data) on your code reader? If so, with the engine at operating temp and no load (in Park or Neutral) check to see if the sensor output voltage is 0.9V or more. The data feed you want will say something like "primary O2 sensor".
