The metric to AN adapter --> -6an Hose End (45 degree) --> Inline Filter --> -6AN Hose End --> Braided "Soft Line" --> Back to the OEM hardline.

Is that still a dangerous setup because of the filter being connected directly to the rail?

Tap the other end of the rail and install the gauge there.

Right, that's fine. I have a place for the gauge. I'm asking, minus the gauge is the rest of the inline setup okay like that?

The only JDM EJ1's were the Civic STD. They were basically a DX coupe.

Mine has been fine for over a year now, but I am going to make some sort of bracket to support it sooner than later. Its not the weight so much but that the filter creates a pretty decent lever arm against the fittings in the 90* adapter. It doesn't really move, but it is subject to a lot of vibration and aluminum has kind of a shitty fatigue life so isolating and/or damping is always a good idea.

Nah there is a coupe that is basically the same as our EX (EJ1!) trim... d16z(d16z6) and all. Dunno how it was labeled there though. That tag above is actually the first one I've seena pic of that says d16a on it...

Maybe consider getting a rail that is tapped on the top for a gauge.

It's simply acting like a drain..Hold it higher than the source or simply stick a bolt in it with a clamp while working with it.

Relocated that alarm siren, run the fuel filter-to-rail line under the intake arm, and relocated the valve cover ground wire to the rear.

Older pics

Valve cover ground is gone already, so is alarm siren...the fuel line was too short to go under the intake...Decided to just wait to do fuel lines when doing the brake lines.

interesting, did you buy a front clip when you did it? im sure it was pretty hard to source those a/c lines! i was also tryin to figure out why you were runnin power steering in an eg but its an ej1 and they come with a/c,p/s etc so i would have kept it too, i like your bay, buts what good with those 2000 halo headlights LOL

the valve cover ground is incorrect. Those grounds are supposed to ground the cylinder head, and the valve cover, not just the valve cover.
