That's one reason why I hate those cheap@$$ sleeves. With GC's on Konis you don't have to worry about any of those o-rings and crap. The inner diameter of the sleeve matches the diameter of the Koni shock body exactly, with no room whatsoever to move around.

I remember that about the koni/GCs I installed once. It worked nice.
I use to use those rings when installing sleeve coilovers, but now I realize wraping electrical tape around the strut actually is easier, and makes a tighter fit.

maxspeeds on tokico blues. My hatch actually handled better than my integra with GC/Tokico's
but neither compare to my koni/GC+GC tophats. Amazing. An give me a break on the altezza corners they were loaners

My dropzones could have slammed my DC, but the struts I was using sucked to bad to even try it.
Sucks man, but that color looks pretty amazing on your Integra...I also really like how those meshies look. Nice.

Good simile you've got there.
I love to see that gen civic lowered since I never see them in person that aren't at stock height.

Where do you guys get these sleeve coilovers from?
I'm searching on Craigslist and someone is selling them for $60, eBay is sellin some for $40 shipped. Any other places for cheaper?
And these are okay for daily driving right? I plan on lowering my car (97 Civic hatch) with sleeves on stock struts. Then just driving around with them, nothing crazy.

you say that like it's okay to do sleeves on stock shocks just because it's a daily driver. Coilover sleeves on stock shocks is probably worse than cutting the stock springs. Do you really want to ride around everywhere with a horrible, bouncy ride? That's going to get annoying real quick.
I agree. But if you are going to go with some ebay coilovers, look through this thread and PM some people about which brands they've had luck with. Personally, Dropzone and Maxspeed have treated me well.
I wouldn't recommend coilovers on stock struts, instead I would go with tokico blues at the very least. If you could afford some koni yellows now, that would be your best bet by far for struts that would give you a good ride.
