Your **** is real low, very nice. I'm guessing they had shorter springs to let them have the helper springs to take up some of their height? Weird, but car looks good.

well isn't that because you threw out the helper springs?
highest height would probably be a good inch or two higher than that withem

Just finished a 3 hr drive through LOTS of road construction. There are some times when a stiff ride isn't too cool...but the ride really wasn't that bad. I think I only scraped my mudflaps twice...nice.

not bad at all. My Type R has a ruffer ride to it with H&R sports and stock struts then the set up on the del sol does. I bought the whole spring/strut set up used from a friend so the front struts are starting to go bad so they tend to bottom out more often but other then that there great.

you use those rings between the shock and the inside of the coilover sleeve. They're meant to reduce the amount of movement between those two piece.s

Rubber rings go around the strut so the coilover sleeve fits tight. It's up to you if you want to use that red rubber thing or not, I wouldn't. Just use the rubber insulator in your top-hat from the factory.

that red rubber **** is crap,
don't use it,
all it does is reduce your suspension travel/stroke, and cause you to bottom out sooner at the same ride height as if it were off.

ok because i have 3 differnt types of rings. i have 12 fatt rubber ones, 4 skinnier ones and 4 metal ones. im guessing 2 fat ones on each strut 1 metal one on the bottom of the sleeve between sleeve and strut, but i dont know about the skinny ones. thanks

I have a couple other angles, but the lighting does no justice. I sold the 15's and have 13" steelies/hubcaps. I am hella dumped. I plan on flipping the rear perch tomorrow and dropping the front all the way down. LOL It is only a 3 mile one way trip to work everyday. 2 turns. If I rub, it won't be bad.

niceee EF

im on ebay suspension too.. "no names" i have tokico illuminas in the front and stock in the rear.. i still can go about another 2in lower from that height..but the rear is as low as it can go im goin to take the sleeves out when i get a chance

Stock shocks / Cheap-a$$ coilovers FTW!

Going on 2 years with the same set up...

Ride's kinda stiff, not bouncy, just right for me.

Rear struts creak a little on turns, but f-it... I always have music on.

Cheap & low

Thanks man.

Smokey Brown Metallic / Flamenco Black Pearl (across the top) ---> The crappy photos (shot by me... which is why) don't do it justice. I just got it back a month or so ago so I haven't had a chance to have a "proper" photoshot of it's chocolatey goodness yet.

Should be doing a shoot soon with my buddies DA (who's bro painted both our cars).
