Default Official Ebay Coilover Thread

Post up if you have your car lowered on some off-brand coilovers that can be purchased on ebay.

Including brands like weapon-R, Dropzone, Maxspeed, Aerospeed, APC, etc.

I've rocked these coilovers myself, and I've had them crack and fall apart, and I've also had them last. I'm not saying this crap is gold, but most of us had rocked these at some point.

I'm gonna dig up my pics now.

Terrible pics, but oh well.

Currently on Maxspeeds (marked '01)

That are cranked ALL the way down...

It rides awesome. 10X better than my Ksports coilovers on my DC.

Had Dropzones on this for about 20k miles...

Didn't ride too good, but those still could have went down MUCH farther. Too bad they were much too soft, and the car was always scraping.

Those coilovers sold to a friend, and then another friend bought them...and they're still working fine.

I'm thinking about putting them on my hatch with stock shocks but I'm still tippy about it.

These coilovers should be fine for daily driving right? Just cruising around and stuff like that. I'm not looking to hit up the local passes for madd tyte turning radiuzz or anything.

If you're getting new struts soon, why not blow them out in style.

Wow im' surprised you guys saying they ride decent. I guess if the shocks are good the ride is decent and smooth. cool.

I also was inquiring about Ebay style coilover springs, was looking for the cheapest way to get my car lowered. I somehow ended up with Eibach Sportlines, and Koni Yellow sports with adjustable stiffness.

You guys have very nice ride heights!
