Hmm.. Maybe. My friend was sanding in circles a little bit, that might have caused it. We got everything pretty damn smooth after around 45 minutes of sanding, you told me it took you 5 hours for your roof. Should we do it longer even though it SEEMS like it's done?

Haha, I've been lazy this weekend, to me. My coilovers get in tomorrow, so I don't think I'll get any paint on till Tuesday. I should have all the coats finished by Friday, which is when I leave to the east coast for a week. Then I'll come back with the treat of buffing and polishing for the next few weeks

TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN!

lol.

I put the coilovers on last night. The car is stupid low. I can't go anywhere with it, it's annoying as hell. But it looks neat. Hah. The painting will resume tonight!

hood looks like ****. I gave up on it, I'd rather not waste the paint on it seeing as I'm going CF in the next week or so anyways

It's like 45 degrees outside right now, and I can't pull my car up into the garage anymore, so painting will be postponed till it's at least like 50 out. I think I'm just doing one more thick coat and calling it done. Aside from the final sanding/buffing of course.

DAY 12

Well, I feel bad about it, but I got really frustrated and gave up for a while. I took all the tape off and put the sidemoldings back on. Tried to sand down the front and back ones, I ended up scratching up and peeling off alot of paint around it There's still some paint on the bottom part of the moldings, but you can't see it in person, because the car's so damn low, and that isn't paint in the left foglight duct, it's some tape I forgot to get. Didn't have time to put the lip back on either

I was so frustrated but I just wanted to get the car back to normal. Put the JDM amber turn signals and coilovers on, took off the hubcaps. I'm sure when I get back from my vacation on the east coast, I'll calm down and begin the sanding process, but for now, I actually kind of like the orange peel, so it works. Oh well, I'm sure I'll throw some more paint on and clean up the moldings at some point, but I'm fed up right now. Anyways, here's some pics. JDM one pieces and CF hood coming in a few weeks.

I just realized, you've been doing this at night. The weather has a huge effect on how the paint dries. Maybe you should wait until your next day off and paint again in the middle of the day when it's warmest. Could be exactly what your paint job needs

It doesn't look all that bad. But, with some lovin' and TLC, it'll look just right, I'm sure of it.

getting there but i think the black side moldings and bumper should be color matched. i think it would make the car flow better since its a cream color

(also ek side skirts/ 94-95 accord front and rear lip)

after your done let that paint fully cure for about a mth or 3 weeks then get it machine compounded/glaze

loving that color might get it painted the same at my uncles shop to my accord that im building up
