After EP and EG, that's time to build an EK
Well... Here we are again...
first of all, I have had a feel problems to log in here the last months
as some of you might remember, my first civic was an EP which was sold to rebuild an EG

After the EG, in 2008, I moved to Geneva (Switzerland) where I had a MKIII Golf VR6.
In 2009 I moved to Miami Beach, where I used to live for 2 years but I didn't have my own car, always using the company's 2009 Sebring.
But this year I came back to Italy, wanted to buy a used Z4 3.0 but when I saw this EK3 (D15Z6 engine) I couldn't understand anything else and bought it.
The first mod LMAO
And a few goodies got home like 1 month later I got the car
D2's up front and stock in the rear
And here a bit slammed

Re: After EP and EG, that's time to build an EK
I've been asked many times the same question.
I think it wouldn't be fair to have had a EP and EG, and miss with the EK, also, my brother is looking for a ED7 as his first car, and I really don't like the European FN/FK models, so yeah, why not the EK?
Another reason? Well, I just love those FF's sh*tz and I missed it too much all those 3 years. My next project after this is done though, will be completely different, and maybe not even a Honda.

Re: After EP and EG, that's time to build an EK
new arrivals
R888's
DC2R subframe + steering rack + front antiroll bar
DC2R complete 5 lugs conversion
15" DC2R wheels
I already have Goodridge brake lines and the 1" master cylinder/brake booster from the same dead DC2R to fit when I make the conversion. Just waiting for the spoon calipers to get here and everything will be fitted.

Here we are again.
This weekend I finally finished the 5 lugs conversion.
Just finished to fit the first one
And up front that's what it's all about
Finally done!!!
BTW, sorry if I didn't post up pics of the full job, but you guys know how it works better than me and I just wanted to finish it as soon as possible and was pretty much tired at the end of the day. Also fitted the DC2R 1" master cylinder/brake booster with Goodridge brake lines and stock DC2R brake pads for now.

Re: After EP and EG, that's time to build an EK
Thank y'all!!!
My girlfriend's family is coming from Japan tomorrow, 11/19, and will be here in vacation till 11/29. So the EK will be stopped during this period and I'll be using my family's Alfa Romeo 147 (at least it's a 1.6 gas version, and not the diesel one).
Unfortunately though, I've noticed the DC2R front brake lines are much longer than the EK ones, and I don't like it at all.
So I've ordered the Do-Luck EK4/9 brake lines. They said its completely stainless steel, but I'm not sure about it. I'm trying to find some naca air ducts to replace the fig lights and give done freshness to the brakes.
With the subframe + front antiroll bar + steering rack from a DC2R, it's pretty easy to guess what will come next.
