Default What helped you decide -- EG or EK?

I'll be buying a Civic HB within a year, and I'm still stuck on which model to go with, EG or EK. I wanted to ask those people that were in my position, what helped you choose which model?

I would choose and EG because it has a tailgate.

Both cars have their own features and I like both. I used to own a few EG's. But the EK look grew upon me. What really did it though was I went to a car show and saw a JDM CTR.
After that I never looked at an EG again...

Get an EK! Be like ME!

Both cars are awesome! But with the savings on the eg, more performance money. Of course either car will pretty much lighten up the wallet if you go performance....unless your sponsored.

it really depends what you're going for. if you like full interiors... but want speed. go with the eg. they are lighter, therefor faster for the HP. you dont have to worry about the obd-2 crap. they have a tailgate... d16z6, LS, b16, gsr. whatever. all go in easy as crap. looks good. nice selection of front lips and you can go stock side skirts, EK side skirts, or the wings west sides. all look great. the JDM armrest is PIMP for the eg. along with the optional audio console... duckbills stand out more on the eh2 (eg). eh2 has a tailgate which is cool.

then again... i now own an ek. 96 dx. a little heavier so its frustrating having to make more whp to match the speed of my old 200whp 94cx. the body style looks dope... so bad *** and a new car look. they do look like a total gils car until you get a lip, ctr grill and some spoon mirrors... and slam that junk. there is no more girlie effect after that. check my sig. now that i have owned each model.. both turbo sohc's.... i still cant decide which i like better. more interior space in the ek IMO. i like the better selection on the gauge clusters for the 96-00. really, you have to decide what you are going for... if speed on cheap power is the goal. get a 92-95 cx. either way. good luck
