Replacement Steering Wheel Emblem
The emblem on my wife's 2005 Accord EX has a small dent on it. Is there a way to replace it without buying a new air bag? Can I buy a replacement emblem or put a metallic sticker over it?

Re: Replacement Steering Wheel Emblem (MSchu)
I spent two hours looking and found lots of badges but no stickers/decals/emblems for the steering wheel. Any recommendations?

Is the 2005 EX emblem the metal outline emblem, or the solid plastic emblem?
If it's the solid plastic emblem, then they are all over the place. You'll even find them on the 2006-2007 G7-A cars just because people think they look better, and they're available in both black and red.
I think that if I were you I'd take a good measure of the size you need and then keep an eye out for a car w/the kind of emblem you want, and just see if it's the same size. Even if you have to buy it from the dealer network, it's not going to be expensive.
I really think that the "crystal" inserts are going too far, though: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...88375
:-)
That is what my own Accord looks like. I like the full plastic insert better than the metal insert, but I don't like it enough better to have ever bothered replacing it.

Re: Replacement Steering Wheel Emblem (George Knighton)
Is looks like an all metal emblem but could be plastic. I have not seen replacement ones and every custom shop tells me they do not work with them. I was told by a few shops that Honda is very strict about replicating their logo and so a lot of groups avoid them. If anyone has information in where I might find one I would appreciate it.
Will a replacement Civic emblem fit properly? Has anyone ever done this type of replacement before?
