Default overheat

2004 honda accord ex 100000 miles, i just changed the A/C fan recently, and the 2 fans runs normally and i have no overheat problem. However, when i drive my car and the push the enigne to about 3-4 thousand rpm for a short peroid of time, the car seems overheat a little bit. normally when u look at the temperautre gauge, the hand( i mean the needle) is around or below the midline(1/2 line). but this time it keeps at 3/4 line( it is in the middle between the mid-line and H.). the present weather is not that hot, it is around 70-80, and my car seems to have a little bit of overheat problem, do u think this is normal?

i used water to clean the radiator, but the problem is still there? any clues? water pump? or the radiator gap?

Default Re: overheat

is the engine smoking at all? is the coolant boiling over? i had the same problem and it turned out to be a faulty ECT 2 the one located on the bottom left of the radiator. as some point it should throw a check engine light.
