Default How do you know when Econ mode is off? Please help

The manual does not specify... I was just wondering. Sometimes when I am cruising at 65 on the highway, and then hit it a bit to get up to 90 to pass someone, there is a 1 sec delay until the acceleration occurs.

Thoughts? Thanks! .

Year, engine and trans might help........

Are you using cruise control and then try to "punch it"?

Sorry, it is a 2015 accord v6 6 speed auto. Never use cruise control. This is only when cruising, sometimes. If I put any pressure on the gas pedal at all from a stop, the car rockets, great pickup.

My only thought: if FCW goes off will that kill some sensitivity in the pedal to decrease the chance of acceleration and collision? This seems to occur when I am closer to someone and then switch into another lane to pass them, if that makes sense.
